Spring Break Reading Opportunities

by | March 29, 2018

Spring is here! School is out for a quick break, but there are still plenty of other opportunities for some reading!

If you’re leaving on a trip:

Read about the spot before you go—you’ll be even more excited to get there after hearing about all the awesome things the place has to offer.
• When visiting places, grab a brochure! They are not only great for reading practice, but they also make great souvenirs!
• Grab an audiobook for the road!

If you’re making it a staycation:

Read about landmarks near your town, then visit them! Make sure you read any historical information you encounter.
• Read outside and enjoy the weather!
• Read to your pet! Fido is probably super excited that you are home to spend time with him, and will make a fantastic listener.
