Langsford’s 1st Grade Prep Workshop is designed to help rising 1st graders transition into the new school year with confidence. This 12-day workshop will prepare your child for what’s ahead.
This workshop is ideal for children who:
- Are entering 1st grade this fall
- Can say the sounds of the alphabet
- Can sound out simple words (like “bat” and “sit”)
- Can write letters of the alphabet
This workshop will help your child:
Blend sounds into words with more confidence
Learn common patterns that make words easier to read
Understand what they read
Improve their handwriting
